One thing to practice this month
Practice: The Daily Pause
This month, I want you to start practicing a Daily Pause — a short, intentional moment to notice what’s really going on inside you before God.
Here’s how it works:
Pick a set time — maybe before you grab your phone in the morning, or right before bed.
Put your hand on your heart and take a deep breath.
Ask yourself out loud: “What’s really going on in me right now, Lord?”
Listen — don’t rush to fix, justify, or explain. Just notice what surfaces.
End with a simple prayer: “Lord, I bring this to You. Show me what You see.”
It’s going to feel awkward at first. You may notice your mind racing or your emotions flooding. That’s okay — it’s a sign you’re actually slowing down enough to hear what’s been buzzing underneath.
By the end of this month, you’ll start to see patterns — the thoughts you keep thinking, the fears that pop up, the longings that are still unanswered. And that’s where we’ll begin naming what’s really driving you in Month 2.
Encouragement:
This isn’t about doing it right — it’s about showing up. Even if all you can manage some days is a whispered, “Lord, I’m here”, it counts.
Take the Check In Quiz
Before we step into a new month, let’s pause and see what God’s been doing in your heart. This quick quiz is your chance to reflect, notice the growth you might have missed, and be reminded that every step counts — even the small ones.
I recommend taking it in the last week of the month so you can look back at the full 30 days. But if you’re here mid-month and just want to see where you’re at, go for it! There are no wrong answers — only a clearer view of the path you’re walking with Him.
