Old Navy Petites

I am loving that this year fall is bringing with it more than pumpkin spice lattes and lost leaves.
Spring and summer are lending it's bright colors to follow us into fall.

I have seen these amazing bright jeans every where and I love that Old Navy is presenting a type of jeans that fit all body types and even have those body types in their commercials! Just cause last time I checked I wasn't a super model size, I will check again tomorrow tho;)

Here is there Fit for Fall Fashion Show, so cute!

Sooooo, as many of you have read we're a bit tight in the ol money department so I did myself a favor and went on a digital shopping spree and picked out all my favorites and anything I would want for fall. It was actually really therapeutic, and isn't that all Pinterest is anyways?

So here are some of my favorite pieces for fall and I thought I would throw in some hair ideas to complete the outfit!
{click on the title of the hairstyle to watch the tutorials}

I am in need of some new skinny jeans and these are great.
They are only $19 right now too and come in tons of colors!
{I think it's close to 20 options!}
And you can pair any of them with my favorite items below as well!

Coral and Mint?? Yes Please!

                                                     Polka Dots and Red!
We meet again:)

Classic "Ashley" pieces
boring maybe, I like to use classic;)
With the Pony Tail Trick

I'm thinking pumpkin patch trip{s} with these plaid shirts!
& maybe the  bouffant bun !

Tucked blousy shirt into this cute skirt!

I secretly, or not so secretly, love that jean jackets are back!
I should have never thrown mine out!

Comfy football gear!
I am more of a forced spectator than actual fan, so I need to be comfortable!!
This has to be matched with the oh so comfy

{Yes had to throw in a Raiders shirt cause my husband would be crazy happy if I got one of those! ha}

Which Fall trends are you looking forward to wearing??
I need all the help I can get!

I was selected for this opportunity as a member of Clever Girls Collective, and the content and opinions expressed here are all my own.

The nice thing about being a mom is that most likely you have mom friends, and they get it.
I need to know sometimes that I am not the only one who feels a certain way, that others struggle with things, and that I am not a bad mom.

So if nothing else, I hope that reading this helps you to know you aren't alone either.

I have been thinking a lot lately about who I am , a self check. Re-thinking what I am passionate about, what I love, what I want to be involved in, etc. And I get kind of frustrated, because in some ways, I feel like I come to a dead "who cares, you can't be that anyways". Not because I am not capable, but it's just on hold for a REALLY long time, until the little children phase is passed. And if you have more than one, well that phase is going to last a while.

Maybe this is more me, I am an all or nothing person.
I try to work on being balanced constantly, but mostly I feel like if I am doing something I want to be all in or I am not going to do it well. So, when I am a mom to little one{s}, that is what I want to be doing with all my heart or I feel like I will neglect something that I know I really do value a lot.

Others are better at balancing other things in life.

Being a mother is all to do with forced selflessness.
I don't really believe that there are many of us out there that are naturally selfless and willing to give everything up that they love and everything that they are for little other than a child that is piece of you that holds a lot of your heart.
And that is the dichotomy, because you are a woman with your own hopes, dreams and desires, and you are now a mother who is then a full time caretaker, teacher, and nurturer of a little life that you love and adore and would do anything for.
And my all or nothingness gets really confused in this.
How can I be me and still give it all for him? Finding that balance.

And this is the other thing, I had a really rough pregnancy, delivery, and postpartum so sometimes I have to check my rational at the door when knowing I want another little one. Who in their right mind signs up for sickness, being uncomfortable, and sleep deprivation? My concern for my self mentally and physically, emotionally and spiritually are put aside, they have to be. And this is the thing, I battle it a lot because I think about it too much. Knowing I will get sick, be tired, possibly deal with the things I did last time. Things that took a toll on my psyche as a woman, acne, a spread nose, and not to mention the weight.

I want to remember what I love, what I am passionate about, what I am good at...
am I good at things?
I can't remember.

I had heard mom's say that they "lose themselves" before I was one, and I now know that it's actually really hard. And no wonder mom's enter into a "prove it to the world" phase once they have more freedom as their kids enter school age, because they haven't been able to do much but clothe, feed, and wipe fluids from little bodies for the past several years. They are re-finding out what being themselves looks like after a long hiatus.

What can or do I "contribute" to the world other than meals, wiped noses, and clean clothes?

And it is so easy to forget that raising little lives, whether we work or not,
 is so very important.

And after you consider all the many cons and the losses that come with being a mom:
sleep, meaning, hair, full conversations, sanity...
you look down at their little faces and your heart wants to explode with the love you have for them, love you didn't know you were capable of.
There they sit, a little piece of you, and becoming more like you every day and we know that these moments are passing so fast and soon we will be crying that they are going to college and thinking about the times when they would snuggle on our laps and stroke our hair.
There they will be, a compilation of all those hard and good days mixed together with a lot of grace and these are the little humans we have the privileged to shape.

Love compels us to do things we might normally not and isn't it true that we find life in this loss of ourselves. Theirs little lives and hearts and more deep meaning results in ours as well.

And even though we struggle through these days, wondering if any of it matters as we clean up another spill, wipe another nose, sing another song, or pray another prayer....
 the truth is...
it matters a great deal.

To them, to us, to the world in which we are shaping them for.

I love being a mom.

You guys need to check out Nicholl's super cute blog
where she talks about all kinds of fun things and has awesome style.
You really only need to read her
page to know why you should read her blog!
We are doing a little post swap today,
so stop by her blog and follow her lovely space!

Hi Eisy Morgan readers!
To my readers I say hi y'all, but being that I'm not at home, I'll keep it classy.
I assume you guys have fabulous hair, as Ashley does and she teaches you all her tricks. In fact, my hair below is my less than perfect version of her bouffant bun. But really, it was a saving grace for my 6 days a week dirty hair. They say diamonds are a girl's best friend. Bull CRAP. Buns are.

Anyhow, see I like to go on awkwardly about unimportant things. Like the fact that I emailed Ashley and said "Hi Eisy" and in my head thought, "what a gorgeous name..." she then replied, very nicely, and didn't even correct me. She did sign her email with her real name, to which I proceeded to feel like an idiot. I'm surprised she was gracious enough to have me as a guest here after that.

So anyways, if after all that you want to come read along over at my blog in which I do awkward ranting and share things I find funny..or cute in some cases, please come along!
