How to remove the ticker from your Facebook page.

8:41 AM

For the most part I don't complain about changes that Facebook makes because,
 let's be honest, it's free!

But that "ticker" in the sidebar? Really? Like we all don't have enough nosy tendencies!

So if you want to get rid of it, I just learned how from a friend of a friend on Facebook.
Thanks Tina and Marty!

So here are the step by step instructions:

1.-if you use chrome download Adblock Plus to it. (Just Google to find, I believe they may have one for Firefox as well)

2- Go to the wrench in Chrome at the top right corner

3- Scroll to Options and open

4- Go to Extenstions (Adblock should be there if you downloaded it)

!!Sidenote, I had to make sure I was signed in so check that if its not working for you!!

5-Click the Options button under the adblock extension

6- Go to the add "Add Your Own Filters" tab

7- In the bar across the top enter this code :[id="pagelet_rhc_ticker"]

8- Click add Filter (It will now be added)

9- Go back to your facebook and logout

10- When you log back in the ads and ticker should be gone! Wooop!
