 This week we are making an I am list...

If you have been reading or participating in Heart Therapy for a while you would well know that I have been working through depression, self-esteem, believing truth, etc.

As I have been working through some thoughts and a few books to help me, one suggested making a list of what I see as my strengths and positive characteristics. So often I focus only on how I don't measure up, and this isn't about being prideful or cocky, just remembering the strengths and gifts we have or have to offer the world!

Here is mine:

Next week we will be making a list of our values. Not what we think others want us to value, but what we actually value. This is an exercise to help us remember what we want and deem important based on our choices because of who we are. Here is the list so you can begin thinking about them.

  1. I wrote a post very similar to this back in March. I am linking that up, hope thats ok. The only difference is that its also a list of things about me that others may have once said as a negative, but I am using to describe myself as a person and in a positive way and it ends with things that I myself know about myself and think are positives. :)
