Dollar Store DIY Spring Wreath

7:48 PM

I was so inspired by Spring Dreams last week that
I needed a touch of it in my apartment so went
on a hunt for items to make a
spring wreath!

I already had the wreath base which I did
not get at the dollar store
but everything else I did!!
(I bought it at Michael's for like 2 bucks tho!)
We went to all sorts of places and I looked for
fake or dried flowers
but as you may know, fake flowers are
ridiculously expensive!
I was not going to pay so much especially when
I needed so many for the wreath.
We finally ended up at the dollar store
and I found these
gorgeous combinations

What you will need to replicate:
  • Wreath of some sort
  • (they did have Styrofoam smaller ones at the dollar store)
  • Floral Moss (MESS ALERT)
  • Hot Glue Gun
  • Silk Flowers
  • Wired Ribbon

How I did it:

  •  hot glue bunches of the moss onto the wreath (most of it will stay;)
  • wrap ribbon around with desired space between each wrap (secure in back with hot glue)

  • Add flowers (I used the little balled babies breath type bunches for the background and then added the pink flowers in sporadically)
  • I only did half of the wreath because it was rather large, but you could do the whole thing!
So quick and simple and has really added a nice touch to our home..
so welcoming!!

I even used the left over flowers for a pretty bouquet!!

Is anyone actually having nice Spring weather??
We certainly aren't...
So we can bring spring to us!!
